You will want to have these items complete or on hand for your settlement:
Buyer
- Buyer’s copy of the finalized purchase agreement.
- Cashier’s check made to KNOX TITLE INSURANCE, INC. for any funds you may need to close.
- Homeowners Insurance policy and paid receipt if you paid outside of closing.
- Photo identification. Some lenders are requiring two forms of ID.
Seller
- Seller’s copy of finalized purchase agreement
- Invoices for any unpaid taxes or bills for work done on the property for closing.
- Bill of sale for any personal property covered by the purchase agreement.
- Photo identification.
